For over 10 years I have been passionately crafting images that convey a unique and emotive style and genre. With my varied interests that inspire my images, I love to get out and about and find moments in time to capture, from beautiful environments, stunning landscapes, exploration of our universe through to abstracts that capture a different view and story.

2021

Early in the year it looked promising as some sense of normality returned, however, short lived as towards the end of June, we are plunged back into lockdowns with no end in sight until perhaps close to December.

Much of the most recent work has been working on website development, however, managed to submit some images into various competitions.

Most recent results are three images receiving Highly Commended in The Mono Awards 2021., with one of those imaged being one close to heart.

The "Daily Roast" is an image in the series from a recent capture for Siboni's Coffee for their website. This image representing our local small businesses whom serve the community and customers alike.

Siboni's Coffee is a boutique coffee roaster in Sydney. Run by owners Dean and Rose Kiner.

For some fine selections of freshly roasted coffee, coffee machines and some wonderful service and support, head over to Siboni's Coffee.

2020

2020 has been an interesting year for all as lockdowns due to the global pandemic continue into 2021.

Photographically, it has been a more subdued. One major trip in 2020 and just prior to full lockdowns coming into effect, was spending close to two weeks in South Australia travelling the Eyre Peninsula from Coffin Bay / Port Lincoln back to Adelaide. The trip provided some great photographic opportunies as well as getting back to the Finders Ranges and revisiting some of the unique spots.

I have been fortunate to have also been able to experience this trip with my partner, Linda Fury, whom is also a beautiful photographer in her own right and also president of the Kiama-Shellharbour Camera Club.

As part of my commitment in photography, I am also currently on the committee and member in the Kiama-Shellharbour Camera Club. The camera Club has also provided good experience with respect to awards, printing and assisting other members in the field of photography.

2019

Each year, on the 3rd full weekend in August, the International Lighthouse and Lightship weekend is held. Several historic lighthouses are illuminated across the weekend.

In Wollongong NSW, the historic breakwater lighthouse is lit as well as the Point Perpendicular lighthouse in Jervis Bay.

In 2019 I had the visited the lighthouse and was able to take some images at night.

During the same period, I was playing around with an imaging app that allows to "wrap" images into spheres. I had uses one of my lighthouse images and was able to come up with some interesting abstract images.

From these series of images, I had created a small story board, "Attack of the Lighthouse".

2019 also saw one of my later images, First Light receive a Silver Award in the Australian Professional Photography Awards.

The image was taken in the Hunter Valley in NSW and also was the weekend that Linda and I had spent with David Oliver, whom is one of my insirational photographers and mentors.
